Q: ‪What substance should I avoid when on MDMA or LSD?‬

In my opinion, there are a lot of substances you should avoid taking just in general. Like meth. Oh hey, speaking of meth, make sure there isn't any in your MDMA. Ecstasy is quite commonly cut with meth, even if it's "molly," or powdered MDMA. Just because it's a powder doesn't mean that it's pure. A way to find out for sure what's in it is to buy a $20 test kit. Or, if you have a pressed pill, you can also check to see if it's listed on a huge database of pictures of pills and what they have been tested to have in them. So…

Do not mix MDMA with any of the following: Any MAOI (St. John's Wort, Phenelzine, Selegiline, etc.); Ayahuasca, aMT or 2C-T-7 (which also have MAOI activity); Ibogaine; or… If you are taking SSRI antidepressants (Prozac, Zoloft, Paxil, etc), MDMA might have no effect on you, or make you extremely sick (or both). Also, alcohol can sometimes have a nasty effect when taken with MDMA. I'd suggest leaving that out of the equation. If you mix any of the above with MDMA, there is a very real chance of getting serotonin syndrome, a temporary but life-threatening situation. It really really sucks.

LSD is not nearly as risky as MDMA--physically, anyway. Mentally, it can be a gamble, which is why you have to take great care in making sure that you are surrounded by positive, caring people. Lithium will have a negative reaction with LSD, so don't take that. And any kind of muscle-relaxer or anti-anxiety medication like valium will likely dull the trip, so there's a chance you probably don't want to take that either.

But really, the simplest, safest way to do this is to *not take any other drugs* while you're tripping or rolling. That way you can be rest assured that you won't have any physical problems from some chemical mayhem in your brain. If you decide to do both LSD and MDMA at the same time, just know that you're in for a REALLY INTENSE experience. That's not one to take lightly or do on a whim.

I hope I answered your question.
